They still haven't 'recognised' how to deal with Liverpool yet even though they have been playing this way for over three years. I think Spurs have a great chance to win the title this season. They're superb in attack with many options. Best squad depth in the league and a manager out to prove a point.

The RS have a lot more variety in attack than this current Spurs team do, imo. Different sort of deal.

That's the thing, It's easy sussing out how a team plays, but trying to stop that team playing a certain way if they have quality players isn't as easy as it sounds.

City needed to somehow replace Kompany, Silva, Sane, Aguero (always injured) and they just haven't got players anywhere near as good as them

It was dead simple, no Richarlison, teams just attacked and loaded up down our right.

The thing is they should have been able to do it as they all left in a spread out enough manner. And with Kompany and Silva you knew it was coming. The job wasn't impossible.

Yeah ha, spurs are bottlers and mourinho isn't so it's hard to say.

Pep's never done defence just throws money at it. Because they've been so much better than the rest they've never had to rely on it and have never been exposed domestically until recently.

In Europe it's a different story, since leaving Barca he couldn't match his immediate predecessors European achievements at Bayern, not even getting near, and has yet to even match Pelligrini's semi final achievement with City, a real failure for him.

Domestically the same weaknesses are finding him out and any fear factor long gone.

They need some firepower now. Aguero is getting more injury prone. Jesus is okay but more like a Firmino type player who doesn't score.

So apart from Sterling they don't have any real ruthlessness or threat up top as they used to for me.

And the less said about the defence the better
