I understand, to an extent, why Liverpool and Leicester get loads more penalties than we do, with them both having players who actually charge into the box and aren't afraid to throw themselves to the ground to con a penalty out of the referees.

All we have is Richarlison who gets in the box, and DCL who wants a header or tap-in but has never attempted to dribble past a player in his life - no complaint about that as it's not his game, but that's the truth.

James wants to assist others or shoot outside the box, while Sigurdsson, Iwobi and all other midfielders spend almost no time at all in the opposition's box, hence we don't have the possibility to collapse onto the ground or win any 50/50 handball decisions. We're, still, incredibly easy to play against, as teams have discovered recently.

But the United penalties are a compete and utter joke. They genuinely should be about 6 points worse off than they are yet the referees continue to give them a goal advantage in almost every game. It's unprecedented since last season.

Ok which of the penalties were illegal , do people never look on decisions given against United eg Martial sent off by lamela cheating , most people say nothing about this

You're weirdly obsessed with returning everything to skin colour.

He could be white and come from Cameroon and I'd still question his real age. The fact his dad refuses an MRI age test speaks volumes.
Maybe he's refused it on principle. I think I might in his position tbh

We looked pretty toothless going forward without Barkley.

The pen decision is genuinely a 50/50 for me, and not a clear and obvious error to overturn the call on the field either way. oh and 100% positive that doesn't get overturned for a "big 6" club (as others have mentioned before).
Don't think I could've stated anything better than this with WBA's pen getting overturned as well

Tbf having two similar incidents officiated the same way is objectively a good thing. Do I agree with either? No not really but if the rules are supposed to be a touch of the ball is no penalty and every game is going to be refereed to those rules I don't think people can really complain.

The clear and obvious thing is absolute stupidity. If you're reviewing the call just make a decision. The on field call should only stand when it is too close to tell. What I mean is if you can't actually tell whether the defender touched the ball for example then it should stay. Otherwise just get it right. The biggest problem with VAR for me is the referee communicates nothing. Every sport where replay works well involves the refs saying what they think in real time. That way even if you disagree you know what is being thought instead of just guessing.

You are kidding right? The media still haven't stopped going on about it.
Really who in the media made a big issue of this , it was a terrible decision and pure cheating by lamela , if that was a Manchester United player there would have been a ban and a mass campaign to lynch by the ABU brigade
