I guess the plan seems to be that their new signings, and local lads training on, are young. But thats fraught with risk, cos as you say, early days, they are not actually any good.

Right I guess you can hope they develop but that's a down the road thing. Tactically right now the options are limited I think.

Quite. Going back a few years, when an Arsenal team were floundering, the then manager, Don Howe iirc, turned to their youth. Thankfully, they had players like Adams, Rocastle, Thomas to name a few to play. That worked out fine, in the end.
