Yeah I worry that the "special" talents they've got going currently might not really be all that. Saka is solid but I don't know he's going to be top class and some of the other ones like Smith-Rowe I think I more just fine than anything else.

I agree and would like to add that anything above solid or fine probably means that player moves to Manchester within a couple of years anyway.

I heard today that they've spent on average £105m per season for the past five seasons. This was on AFTV so I can't verify for accuracy, but if that's right then it's a shocking amount of money to not only fall further behind the competition but also regress so badly on the pitch.
