Quite. Going back a few years, when an Arsenal team were floundering, the then manager, Don Howe iirc, turned to their youth. Thankfully, they had players like Adams, Rocastle, Thomas to name a few to play. That worked out fine, in the end.

But different days.

Yeah I worry that the "special" talents they've got going currently might not really be all that. Saka is solid but I don't know he's going to be top class and some of the other ones like Smith-Rowe I think I more just fine than anything else.

Not worried in the slightest. I grew up in an era were Arsenal were Arsenal, but not all that. 1979 FA cup win, 1989 league title. Maybe a CWC, cant remember.
