All that was in stone, if in doubt the benefit used to be given to the attacker. The hardest thing to do in football is score and now we not only take that away but stop people celebrating as any number of things building up to it could be used to rule it out.

I'm sure the lines and mm accuracy is for American viewers, the RoW don't give a crap as long as it's roughly in line. VAR should be used as sparingly as possible.

As an American viewer, I think they play with the lines and the camera angles to post hoc justify the decision the league wants, then get you to blame Americans. But then, I've seen a lot of American officiating and coverage over the years.

Watched that before, my "Everton"head told me Burnley would have snaffled all those chances against us and have been out of sight, and I also knew they would scruff one after that.
