Away goals is a dumb ruleWorld Cup’s don’t feel right without Nigeria.

I'd also say Leo with Los Albicelestes as wellBold call mate. Germany among the favorites too? What about Brazil?
Good team. Playing better than some squads in Pot 2. Glad we can't draw them. Not going to win it. That bad 'L' to Costa Rica could really hurt them if it drops them to Pot 4, though that would at least eliminate the possibility of some nightmarish group like Brazil-Germany-Canada-Wales.People are sleeping on Canada, buddy.
They need to nail down a #9 that can beat elite defenses. Could be Ansu. If they sort that, they will be very tough to beat. If not, they'll need a favorable knockout draw against teams like Belgium they can just outpoint. Everyone is flawed (with the possible exception of the French, who nevertheless have some stinkers in them), so the knockout draw will matter a great deal.I'd also say Leo with Los Albicelestes as well
But I don't think there's a more technical and relentless NT atm than Spain. As we know, anything can happen in a WC but I really like their look atm - plus, a health Ansu is on the horizon
Looks like poor Salah getting a dose of the medicine his own fans give out here.Egyptian FA accuse Senegal fans of racism after World Cup playoff defeat

Quite a few low scoring games but tonnes of drama lol

It’ll be Peru vs Australia/UAE in one playoff and New Zealand/Solomon Islands vs 4th in Concacaf, most likely Costa Rica for the other. New Zealand and the Solomons play this evening and while it’ll be more than likely that New Zealand will win, it’ll be quite the story if the Solomons pull off a win and put them to one game away from the World Cup, the closest a Pacific island nation has come to qualifying for it.So It'll be Peru Vs New Zealand/Solomon Islands now I believe?
With The 4th placed team in North America playing the winner of the Asian play off?
Or is it Peru Vs Asian play off winner with North America playing Oceania?
New Zealand and Australia both still in play as it stands then
I wonder if they could actually end up in the same group as one another at the tournament itself?
Would an England, New Zealand, Australia, USA group be possible actually? I'm not sure what pots those respective teams would be in
Pots are strictly off FIFA rankings this time around (with the usual rule of no more than 2 from UEFA to a group and no teams from the same confederation otherwise). However, the teams in playoffs not yet contested slot into Pot 4. This is how we can end up with some nonsense group involving four top 20 teams, if Wales makes it through as expected. One of those teams would have to be US/Mexico/Senegal, since the rest of the top 20 is CONMEBOL/UEFA.It’ll be Peru vs Australia/UAE in one playoff and New Zealand/Solomon Islands vs 4th in Concacaf, most likely Costa Rica for the other. In terms of the pots, based on what they did the last time New Zealand qualified, they were in the same pot as the Aussies and the other Asian teams, which you assume they would do again if it were to occur this time around, albeit you never know with Fifa.
Seriously why are a lot of modern day athletes such massive cry babies? I’m not advocating a return to the “strong, silent type” era that boomers love to romanticise but come on, a lot of these sportspeople seem overly sensitive. Not quite as bad as Osaka in the tennis a few weeks ago, but it’s still pretty pathetic what’s going on with Maguire.
Also Kane’s “great memories” comment reeks of Kenwright’s “there’s been good times”. Sick of these people thinking that fans should be grateful no matter what and unconditional in their support.
