Wolves all over them. They always manage to find these skillfull players with a touch of quality. Look a different team than last season.

Utd look like its buy a load of good players and just throw them on with no coaching.

It's an arms race in a lot of cases. Mahrez was an imperfect fit for City like Grealish is but they figured it out because he's a great player and it is better to have great players than not. Sancho and Grealish in time will most likely work out. Sometimes it doesn't like Depay but it does a lot of the time.

With United though I think there is a lot of spending vast sums in the wrong places - its not that long ago that Rashford / Martial / Greenwood outscored everyone, but they had a terrible midfield.

They've bought three players in since to challenge those front three for their places, whilst Fred still starts and Pogba will be off for nothing this summer. I know @Bohemian Toffee mentioned Arsenal and Bissouma, but why aren't United in for him? He is vastly better than Fred.

With United though I think there is a lot of spending vast sums in the wrong places - its not that long ago that Rashford / Martial / Greenwood outscored everyone, but they had a terrible midfield.

They've bought three players in since to challenge those front three for their places, whilst Fred still starts and Pogba will be off for nothing this summer. I know @Bohemian Toffee mentioned Arsenal and Bissouma, but why aren't United in for him? He is vastly better than Fred.

They do need a proper defensive midfielder but I think people are overly harsh on Fred. I don't think Bissouma really kicks them up that far.

I’m still not actually sure what Fred is meant to be good at. He’ll throw a tackle in now and then but he also gets run around an awful lot. Don’t understand him.

For me, Fred is a liability who can be targeted, he's not especially safe with the ball and seems to be on the wrong side of his man too often.

Covers the ground, sure, but he's very limited.
