I get that the narrative with Carlo is never going to change because of what came before and after and because most people couldn't understand that we were mid collapse when he left.

He got out at the right time, he can play the whole "Madrid is special, I wouldn't have left otherwise" but he's too smart to not have realized he'd bit off too much here and didn't have the tools to fix it.

English clubs are utterly dominant in europe.

The gap between the PL and the rest has never been higher.

Moist to win his first piece of major silverware after years of false dawns at Everton eh!
He took everton well too far. A sell to buy club. Losing our best players every summer. People talk of false dones and ceilings. He surpassed any Dawn I expected. Should have been finishing 15th and 16th not 5th and 6th every season.

The only feelings of false dawns and let downs of expectations are the ones he miraculously raised by himself. We would miss out on champions league and be disappointed. When our budget suggested survival.

Don’t think if you were a West Ham or Rangers fan today, you’d have been expecting to be in a scenario where you’re comfortably winning and facing the “weaker” of the potential opponents in the Semi’s.

West Ham avoid Barcelona
Rangers avoid Atalanta.

He bit into a massive lump of fecal matter and spit it out immediately.

Course we did.

In his time since his departure, prior to West Ham he cocked up with United (the impossible job really), got relegated with Sunderland, was fiercely disliked by Weat Ham (1st stint) and failed at Sociedad.

He did literally nothing to merit going for the job, just like Pereira etc.

Done a fantastic job with West Ham this time round but people who have changed their time now he actually is doing well just make me laugh.

(Not saying you’ve changed your tune).
Barney I agree that after he left us he was poor. However, this season he has done a great job with West Ham while we are 17th
