I think that ship sailed for City last season, but I'll never get why they signed Grealish and not Kane. The got that one extremely wrong.

And Haaland scores at a goal a game. He's the better player.

The only comparison for what Haaland is doing is honestly Lewandowski. Are you picking Kane over him too? I get that sometimes switching leagues doesn't work out for players but is that a strong enough argument to ignore everything else?

As a premier league club, yes I'd want Kane. It's the lowest risk transfer you'll ever find.

I'm not arguing against signing Haaland this summer. Every year that goes by makes Haaland the better value player. I think they got it wrong last year is more my point.

I personally think signing someone else is getting it wrong, take Chelsea for example, big money on Rom the simmer before Haaland is 100% available and Mbappe might be as well is just horrendous planning. Haaland isn't an idiot. He could have been at United but he went to Dortmund first to solidify himself and stay away from that mess. If Kane is at City Haaland isn't.
 

Man City’s recruitment policy is to sign young players with huge potential so makes sense why they would wait for Haaland instead of pinging 150 mil to spurs for “I’m a defensive playmaker now” kane.

They have also signed that young Argentinian striker.

They brought through foden from their academy who is now a regular starter.

Bayern also do the same thing i.e signing Sane and now Adeyemi from RBZ

Only the likes of Madrid and Barcelona would entertain the idea of signing an older player on massive wages these days
