I know this is a joke.

But, players can be signed 12months of the year, but can only be registered in transfer windows.

They went on to spend that ridiculous fee on Grealish instead!

That said, I still think Harry Kane is a better player and would've been great in City's team.

It was a ridiculous fee, but I dont think we will see the best of Grealish until next season. Hes an excellent player imo, Marez and Sterling both struggled in their first season and they turned out ok.

Defo. One of the first seasons I remember proper following footy was when Sheff Wed got to (and lost) both finals against Arsenal. They were my second team for a bit. Love to see them back up to the Champo, and then eventually the big time.

Back in the 90s Batistuta was in similar situation with Fiorentina, when Serie A was by far the best league in the world. There was great trio of Batistuta, Rui Costa, Edmundo at Florence, but there was so many strong clubs back then in Italy and Fiorentina failed to seriously challenge for trophies.

Then at his old age he gone to Roma (ironically) and won title there
