Just my take on it, we are very weak at the back so Southgate has to protect his back four. Sad state of affairs when there is no one any better than Maguire. If we went out and attacked I think we would lose games quite heavily.

Yep, I missed the German goal but read comments about how Pickford let it in. I then saw the goal and tbf he was moving the wrong way but got a weak hand on it, sometimes they bounce out or over, either way Pickford was stood in an open goal with no defenders challenging the striker…

Our best players are the attackers so let them express themselves, you could see as soon as we attacked alittle we created chances. I think if he continues with the negative boring tactics we will lose games anyway so may aswell have a go
