And fair play - England are doing the business against the big sides too (except the moment that actually counts still)…. but putting 7 past this lot is just a waste of time

Agreed. Matches need to be a challenge to not be a waste of time. Ireland v Gibraltar for example was not a waste of time
 

Back to reality for Northern Ireland. We are absolutely woeful. Totally unacceptable to lose to a team of that level, regardless of our lack of quality forwards.

I dont know if Isaac Price took many set pieces when he was with us, but I've not seen so many corners go in shin high for a very long time.

Remember Gordon used to be like that on corners also. Must be something we teach them from a young age.

The Kazakhs aren't that bad

They did Scotland a few years back and Scotland are playing well at the moment

They beat Denmark in this group as well and are currently in second place

No shame losing narrowly to them

Not going to lie, I thought they were absolutely rubbish, and they weren't even trying to win yet somehow did. Unfortunately we are absolutely rubbish as well.

It was one of the poorest games of international football I've ever seen. No quality whatsoever and a comedy of errors in defence for the winning goal. As soon as Jonny Evans goes off, the whole defence falls apart. The Kazakhstan defence looked terrified every time a ball came into their box, but instead we passed it around aimlessly in midfield.

It's a very good job O'Neill is back as manager because this needs a total rebuild over the next 5 years.

On what planet can people celebrate England football team being better than Ireland/Wales/Scotland/NI?
