How is that a penalty against United?

It hit his thigh and ricocheted onto his arm. I thought they changed the handball law if it deflected off another body part onto hand/arm it can’t be a pen?

Ridiculous that for me.

Refs make it up as they go. How var hasn’t overturned it is beyond me
 
No way a Premier League ref (as bad as they are) gives that I reckon. Not that quickly, any way. Handball seems to be viewed differently across Europe.

Yet people keep saying that VAR works well on the continent. A continental official on VAR tonight I assume.

If VAR can't do its job then it should be scrapped.
