I'll get giddy when we actually win a game of football... until then I'm firmly in the wait and see camp.

But saying that makes you a Benitez lover or RS apparently - so ask the question why is that ? Who is pushing that narrative and for what purpose ?

The issue is, you say you are behind lampard and like him, then every single post you make is negative about him and saying he is under pressure (or will be as we are all going to turn on him after big losses which haven't happened).

It's nothing to do with Benitez technically. But, when Benitez was on that insanely poor run of 1 win in like 14 games, you backed him completely and he was under no pressure from you and all your posts were backing him strongly.

So people are obviously going to point that out because it shows your posts about Lampard as being very weak.

When he starts winning games you'll not see any criticism from me. I give praise I said post derby he did all he could possibly do however reality is he's been backed with a near new starting 11 and doesn't have the likes of Keane, Gomes, Coleman, Siggurdsson etc starting games every week as an excuse anymore.

I need to see results on the board.

He hasn't had a striker for 5 of those games though (Dont even suggest Rondon as I know you joke about him but he has been appalling for us) And for most of those games, we have had most of the midfield injured and it wasn't until the derby when we actually had what looks like an actual squad available to him. You used injuries as an excuse last year, but not using it now, despite him losing 2 of his first choice CBs in game one, doucoure getting injured in game 2 and having a midfield of Davies and iwobi as Onana needed time to get fit and gel, and gueye and Garner not signing until deadline day.

Whether intentional or not, most of your posts about him come across as if you can't see the actual progress we have made on the pitch. Which has been considerable. Whereas last season, you didn't seem to care about the results.

"But Benitez won games" will be the response, even though for those games we had Richy and sometimes both him and Dom.

Its weird people are criticising you because you want us to win, while at the same times some of those people wanted us to get beat last season because they wanted the manager sacked.
After 6 games this season we have 4 points, after 6 last season we had 16, we are currently 12 points down.

After 6 games last sesaon we had 13pts and we also had Richarlison and Dom for the majority of those games.

And what happened after game 6 last season?

I get wanting to win, but it's a process. The team is drastically better but I've already pointed out the reasons why we haven't got the wins over the line.

We lost 9 in 13 from game 6 last season, but you 2 and others, gave zero criticism to the manager. We have lost 2 in 6 so far and all it is is criticism.

I missed the game, but they got over 90 points last season but some of those games they were winning were so tight, they had everything going for them, bounces, refs, injuries, drawing two finals but winning cup etc

That can’t last, and then take mane out of them, few key players a year older, everyone seems to literally just target that tta’s side now

That last 10 minutes at Goodison, hitting posts, Pickford keeping out shots and headers, etc etc, fully expected a last minute winner, as per, but it didn’t happen. Perhaps it’s a turning point ??

Someone should tell him players from the Portuguese league won the Euros in 2016.

But if he keeps doing well in the CL he might be in with a shout. Although he'd have to do it against better teams than Eintracht I guess.
