John Stones clearance off the line a few years ago against Liverpool cost them the title...apparently a 'defining moment' in that season's title race...absolutely no idea what he's referring to...only he knows.

That was a truly shocking performance by Oliver , matched only by the glacial nature of City's passing and lack of imagination.

Which is what happened...in the 98th minute.

It just highlights how Pep-ball can suck the life out of football the same as parking the bus for 90mins.

If you are going to spend the entire second half hanging on, defending, and playing with backs to the wall, you sort of have to hold on. Arsenal didn't. So, not only have they failed to get the critical win, they have basically handed the initiative to City by admitting they were inferior, needed to park the bus, and still couldn't see it out.
