ExactlyThat was a dreadful second half from City and why they persevered with the 2 centre backs receiving and recycling the ball on the edge of the box when Foden was sitting on the bench until the 70th minute…ridiculous.

They did have a player less like. Against a team that can bring on 100 million pound players off the bench. If you are going to spend the entire second half hanging on, defending, and playing with backs to the wall, you sort of have to hold on. Arsenal didn't. So, not only have they failed to get the critical win, they have basically handed the initiative to City by admitting they were inferior, needed to park the bus, and still couldn't see it out.

Lol, we need specifics Dave…
If you’re struggling to find some, I’m sure @Yid4life will help you out mate.
I was a little harsh, alright.Bit of a weird take.
City barely managed a draw against ten men.
Neither will be happy with a point.
City certainly won’t feel like they’ve been handed the initiative.

I think the game plan nearly worked. So it’s harsh to criticise it.I was a little harsh, alright.
I still don’t think being a man down should see a top side with ambitions to topple City reduced to 12% possession, but I agree with you about City. The fetish for possession at all costs - including sterility - baffles me. As critical as I am of Arsenal for being stupid enough to go down to 10 and craven enough or inferior enough to give up the ball almost totally, you’d have to ask questions of why a side with almost total ownership of the ball are only equalising at the death.
Spot on. They did that last season too with another cowardly anti-football performance at the Etihad. If you are going to spend the entire second half hanging on, defending, and playing with backs to the wall, you sort of have to hold on. Arsenal didn't. Good luck in your relegation battleProperly hate city. Didn’t really pay them that much attention until a few of their head pattering fans signed up on here just cos liverpool were their closest rivals and expected us to all bow down in front of them and ignore their flagrant cheating.
Thank you. We deserve to be there. Your lot should have been kicked out the league you’re just too dumb to really understand.Good luck in your relegation battle
