In some ways you are right, but it is perhaps a good thing that they set a precedent and that it was an awful one - otherwise someone might still be trying to do it with one of the many clubs that have gone bust in the time since the old Wimbledon got moved.

In some ways you are right, but it is perhaps a good thing that they set a precedent and that it was an awful one - otherwise someone might still be trying to do it with one of the many clubs that have gone bust in the time since the old Wimbledon got moved.

But they still remain, legacy or no legacy, and they will never ever gain my support or any of my good will as long as they still, with AFC in the Football League, claim any connection to the London club. I know they have supporters from Wimbledon, and that's just great for them - but they aren't the Dons, and they aren't the true carriers of the spirit of the FA Cup Winners. Call themselves FC:MK© or something.
