Van Gaal saying he needs at least a year to turn this around. Oh well, at least he's standing his ground if nothing else
Moyes obviously left his book of excuses in the manager's office at Carrington

Amazing he has been allowed to publicly state that. Can't see it going down well with the double glazing safestyle UK directors.
*cough*wenger*cough*Van Gaal is embarrassing in interviews. The guy really does believe his own hype. How he can come out and say they were unlucky tonight and all MK Dons goals came from United mistakes is beyond me. I know you need to protect your players somewhat in the media, but he truly believes it. I think the guys is going to sink at that club and no matter how much b@llocks he tries to peddle to the media or how much he thinks his 'character' will get him through, he is sadly mistaken.
United will be lucky to finish top 10 this season unless he makes major signings to the back 3/4 and holding midlfielder areas.
Another 3 months and the United fans will be desperate for Davey back...

This might cause a shitstorm, but I'm sort of hoping Everton follow United's suit in the next round because we have the derby, a Europa game and then United away straight after the third round.
Yeah, I know its a trophy but I'd much prefer our focus be on the three games after.
Its like formula 1. You have to keep it continuously generating pushing forward or revenue drops off quickly as the sponsors lose interest.
United's main sponsors are non UK based.
Can you imagine they will be happy paying top dollar to be associated with a team that finishes 7th and not in the Champions league?
Really?
75 million will be cut to 25 million very quickly.

Go in to every game to win. By all means play the youngsters, but a losing mentality shouldn't be anywhere near the club. A few Premier League teams have been knocked out, we could be pushing at an open door if the draw falls the right way.
