Mancs are revisionists...they will not admit to ever declaring Fellaini "not United standard". Now that Liverpool have dropped back into insignificance, I can revert to my natural stance of disliking that other red lot intensely.
I never stopped hating them. There's nothing more cowardly in life than supporting Manchester United.

Just watching a replay of Madrid/Eibar. Co-commentor Ray Hudson talking about Chicharito (as he started).

' massive respect to him, to have the opportunity to wear a Manchester utd and now a Madrid jersey means you're some player; this isn't Newcastle Utd here '.

He won two pots a year ago

You're damn right it's valid when deciding whether to keep him on

It's not a Wenger situation where he went 9 years without winning something
They've already lost five Premier League games in 2015 with a squad which is worth much more than our entire club's total value.

City have been dramatically short in the league, out of the cups in pretty embarrassing fashion and their Europe campaign was lacklustre.

As I've mentioned before, I agree with your sentiment that there is too little loyalty in the higher echelons of football. It's not a perfect situation.

However, with the money they've spent and their requirements then there are certain 'high' expectations which will have been made clear.

If you do not meet a certain criteria then you have to expect the consequences. Citeh aren't Arsenal and neither are we Arsenal.

Add to that there is very little confidence that he is able to manage the changes required, so that'll be the nail in his coffin.

City are an exemplar of a team, or more precisely, a club, that lacks soul

And yet they used to have soul in abundance.

All manner of adversity was overcome.....even sinking to the third division a mere 16 years ago.

Their fans were great.

Now the fans and the club act like some chav who won the Euromillions.

Plus their good fortune in having all the money handed to them has made it so much harder for us to climb back to anywhere near the top.

You want to read the Fellaini thread on Redcafe, he's turned them haters into lovers, funny as it is.

"Another brilliant performance from him again today, If he keeps this crack up he'll be getting my player of the season award, I've great time for players that operates the way he does."

"The most important player to Van Gaal's United. Weird. Fantastic too."

"From being jeered in a pre season game at Old Trafford to being given a standing ovation in the Derby at the end of the season. Quite a turnaround."

"I absolutely love this guy. Immense again, immense in most big games this season, what a character he is."

"Get Moyes to be in charge of transfers. Fellaini and Mata. Done the groundwork for Herrera and Shaw. Rejected Mangala, The man has an eye for talent."

"All Fellaini is doing now is reproducing his Everton form for United. And there was never any reason why he couldn't, if he was given the chance to, He has been given the chance, and now we can see what he's all about."

And on and on...

what's pellgrini's transfer business like? £28m on bony who he's barely played when he has aguero and dzeko anyway, £30m for mangala who's utter mince and lampard which was a smart bit of business. Fernando has been laregly average, did he buy fernandinho for a massive fee as well? not lived up to the price tag imo, been okay at times. anyone else?

think losing milner in the summer will be very big for them, he's been one of their top 3 players this season imo.

Fernando
Willy Caballero
Eliaquim Mangala
Wilfried Bony
Jesus Navas
Fernandinho
Álvaro Negredo
Stevan Jovetic
