Some of those are just complete spuds aren't they?

Wow. He wastes money like a RS fan buying champions league tickets every year.

All the so called big money spenders (City, Utd, Chelsea) usually end up in the top four with the other big spenders just behind them & the teams who don't or are unable to spend large amounts end up in the middle & at the bottom, & I can't see it ever changing
5 of the top 6 have all spent over 200/300m on there current squads

City's current squad that was submitted for the 2014/15 season cost £366,900,000 & were only just beaten by Manure who's squad cost £371,000,000

Chelsea's total Squad Cost £311,509,000
Arsenal's total Squad Cost £229,900,000

Liverfool's total Squad Cost £228,200,000

Everton's total squad cost £98,250,000

The bottom 5 squads cost a total of about £245m

Sunderland's total Squad Cost £80,700,000
Hull City's total Squad Cost £63,350,000
Queens Park Rangers total Squad Cost £61,550,000
Burnley's total Squad Cost £13,580,000
Leicester's total Squad Cost £26,150,000

....but the Reds got £228,200,001 for Suarez, everybody knows that.

.....yep, but BR has sold more than he's spent according to Reds. They have different calculators than other people.

BR has spent over £215,000,000 & sold £115,000,000 (£65,000,000 of that was for Mr bite Saurez)

From Season 92/93 to Season 14/15 they have spent £767,305,000 on players & sold £441,090,000 worth of players, also since 2008 - 2014 they have spent £54,999,937 on agent fees

....very good, thanks for that. I suppose the other point to mention is that they also pay top dollar salaries. Mate of mine insists BR is doing a fantastic job reducing the wages bill, he and the owners are not offering big bucks any more. The Sterling offer appears to contradict.

Just having the same argument with a RS fan about players bought, sold & wages

@Ian_Ladyman_DM: Sturridge missing from #LFC line-up tonight due to injury. A familiar statement, that one.

@Squawka: Liverpool XI vs. Newcastle: Mignolet; Johnson, Can, Lovren, Moreno; Allen, Lucas, Henderson; Ibe, Coutinho, Sterling. #LFC

Such a crap team that. Shame they aren't playing a decent team or they'd be lambs to the slaughter.

I'm going 2-2. Hopefully Newcastle are up for it.
