That might be as close as Spurs ever get to the title, just like it was with the RS two years ago. Ahead of next season, there are going to be some obscene amounts of cash spent by the Manchester clubs, Chelsea etc.

No doubt they will, but that would be to ignore the lessons of this season.

If Pochettino keeps that side together and uses this to motivate them they will be a massive threat to everyone next season, in the same way that Ferguson turned the disappointment of losing to Leeds in 1991 (?) to build the first of those sides that smashed everyone for nearly twenty years.

Clattenburg should never be allowed to referee ever again. A referee first & formemost has to protect the players on the pitch & when tackles start to cross the line if you don't punish the individuals then it descends into Sunday league.

I've genuinely only felt angry whilst not watching non Everton premier league games a few times

Shawcross snapping Ramsay
carragher assaulting Nani

& now watching dier attempting to decpaitate various cheslea players. I have a very strong dislike of Chelsea & you could argue they deserve some rough stuff but Tottenham crossed the line & were attempting to deliberately injure opponents.

Shame none of the Spurs players took the opportunity to land one on Terry, it was a free for all that game, thanks to Clattenburg, but what do they do? Poke Diego in the eye. GTF, Spurs. Knobs.

I think Spurs are likely to compete for the league again next season. They're a proper team with very good players, manager and financial backing. Liverpool almost fluked it because they had Suarez and momentum. I reckon Spurs will do better than Leicester next season.

Strangely enough he was the best behaved outfield player tonight.

They can't spend much more than they already do without wrecking their ROI, can they? Don't think it's the amount of purchases, it's how many of them have been crap.
