Interested to hear @49ers' and @Yid4life's thoughts on the game tonight.

Decent game,Spurs lost the title before tonight,Newcastle at home and the baggies game last week come to mind. They've improved an amazing amount in 2 seasons but really should have done it this season...... I say that with no sense of irony whatsoever.
Gutting for a spurs fan to have your best season for half a century and still end up behind Leicester.
As far as Chelsea are concerned, those chavs always have been and always will be classless,hope Conte flops.

yep, if i was a spurs fan i'd want to be on that first train home and go straight to bed - be arsed with that. their players were obviously frustrated and that led to the antics - understandable of course, but it was poor. never liked the club, but preferred them so much more this season, breath of fresh air - losing the lead totally deflated them tonight and they sort of tarnished their season long of good work. dembele will be banned like ali as well. newcastle will be staying up for sure now sadly.

Still so ironic to me that Kasper Schmeichael is essentially this generations Tim Flowers, when Flowers denied his dad a premier league title!

Don't follow this logic mikey, Leicester haven't broken the transfer record or had a massive injection of cash compared to their rivals, have they? Besides, his dad won plenty of PL medals!

Those three clubs mentioned are all likely to have new managers and be backed by stupid amounts of funds.

But at a certain point they stop getting a return on their marginal investment. Those clubs are pretty well maxed out commercially and there's only so much prize and TV money to be had in a single year. If you can only win an additional 75 million (just naming a number, I have no idea how much it really is) it's senseless to have a 200 million net spend.

i know spurs probably wouldn't have sold him, but if kane did okay in his loan spell at leicester and they stumped up enough cash, would they have bought kane instead of vardy? unsure how the signings overlapped.

yep and thankfully we may actually be able to join this stupid party. We would have of anyway with the TV deal, but now with actual investment, and a greta squad already i'm looking forward to it - but i'll just enjoy this little victory for hardworking footballers tonight.
