Today's Football 2016 / 2017 Season

Pleased on the whole. Seem to have cemented our usual 5th place spot!

Injuries/suspensions haven't been kind to us (same as most teams though) so to still be in touch with second place is a positive. 71 points in the calendar year 2016 is our best in the Prem.

Only real downer for me was the CL flop - Wembley didn't help. Hopefully the 25k tourists/day trippers aren't a sign of things to come in our new place. £5 tickets for the Gent match (reduced capacity as well) could be interesting.

I am getting my mojo back a bit now, the premature death of my match day going mate hit me hard at the start of the season but I'm starting to enjoy it again now.

The future is bright, the future is Lilywhite ;-)

I think you have suffered more than the other teams near the top from post tournament burn out to key players and injuries. Dele Alli hasn't be firing on all cylinders and neither has Eriksen. That said you are still in with a shout for top 4, just hope you finish above the London RS.

they can't buy our referees as well surely? in that case why have we ended up with absolute tosh, let's buy some good foreign imports.

Creates new game called Football Referee Manager 2017

'China are certainly looking to develop their football, looking at their signings and their recruitment,' Clattenburg told The Associated Press.

'If an opportunity came along - I am contracted to the Premier League - but I have to look at my long-term strategy of my career. How long can I last as a referee? I have been in the Premier League 12 years. It's been a wonderful 12 years.

'There is no offer on the table but if they made an offer it would be under consideration. But at the moment I still enjoy working for the Premier League and UEFA.'

He's got pound signs in his eyes thinking about the cash floating round China at the moment.
