No Vertonghen or Walker for Watford. Hope Alderweireld has recovered from his 'virus'.
What do you make of your season so far Yid lid? Better, worse or what you expected, from an outsiders point of view it seems a bit of a let down so far especially the CL campaign

Agree there Prev there just doesnt seem to be the same energy as they had last season, like theres a hangover from missing out on a great chance to win the league

I imagine missing out after coming so close would be a bit demoralising. Don't think they really strengthened the squad either, the top teams always reinforce and bring in competition in 3 or 4 places

Pleased on the whole. Seem to have cemented our usual 5th place spot!

Injuries/suspensions haven't been kind to us (same as most teams though) so to still be in touch with second place is a positive. 71 points in the calendar year 2016 is our best in the Prem.

Only real downer for me was the CL flop - Wembley didn't help. Hopefully the 25k tourists/day trippers aren't a sign of things to come in our new place. £5 tickets for the Gent match (reduced capacity as well) could be interesting.

I am getting my mojo back a bit now, the premature death of my match day going mate hit me hard at the start of the season but I'm starting to enjoy it again now.

The future is bright, the future is Lilywhite ;-)

Sorry to hear about your mate - do me a favour? Can you finish above Arsenal this year? It'll wind up one of the lads who works for me enormously.
