Spurs and Harry Kane are now real contenders, everyone's forgotten team, finished third last year and written off for some reason this.

Could easily come second behind City.

Clinical from Kane and Moura the man of the match.

Far closer than 0-3 scoreline suggests and really could have gone either way for 50 mins, the two goal stunner exposing the big weakness right in the centre of Utds defence made it a game where if there was no immediate reply, a counter would always finish it.

Lindeloff and Danny Rose the real outstanding weakpoints on the pitch.

There are big weaknesses at the centre of Utd's defence, but for me that wasn't a dreadful performance at all.

Mourinho's does still have a generally outstanding record but there is very valid criticism and concerns which have surfaced at previous clubs in the third season too.

Some people are dismissing anything that doesn't fit the condemn Mourinho agenda and forget anything positive, either now or in his record though, such is instant reaction to any defeat. They can sometimes look at a scoreline and use it to confirm their bias

Jones unlucky to be injured yet again especially with Captain Chaos Lindeloff to come on, but that was very fortunate with a definite pen for the push on Moura not being given in the first half.

Spurs having no depth is gonna hurt them at some point

Looks like he's gotten to grips with the league now. A steal from PSG at £25 million. Dembele is a class act, strong as hell, bit of devil about him and superb touch and control. A very strong spine and a top, top coach who was the most important signing for Spurs over the summer. Phil Jones is the only player to get better lookig after being vollied in the grid.
 
United were better than losing by 3 but when you've started the way they have nobody is listening to that. They were always going to regret the first half misses.

United have always had wide men with pace to make the pitch bigger. The number of times Lukaku has to go wide to get the ball is baffling. Is Rashford injured? He is rapid, even if he is raw, he makes them runs and commits men.
