United have always had wide men with pace to make the pitch bigger. The number of times Lukaku has to go wide to get the ball is baffling. Is Rashford injured? He is rapid, even if he is raw, he makes them runs and commits men.

Rashford has been extremely poor in the chances he's had recently, he's been given many too, Lukaku played centrally last night and had good chances and always looked a threat.

They'll spend in January if the title looks on

Bank on it
I think the lack of depth will hurt them if they don't get a really straight forward CL draw and they'll be realistically out of it before January. At which point they may still spend and aim for CL success. My opinion is the quality in their team really falls off once you start playing Sissoko, Lamela, Aurier and others of that level. Plus Kane basically has to play and be up for every game. It'll be tough when they have two fixtures a week most weeks.

Who is he kidding?'

Maybe that stance by Jose Mourinho at the end was trying to show unity, but who is he kidding? Has Mourinho just walked into this job? No.

He has had two years to build this team and he has to take responsibility. His managerial record is fantastic, but if United want to accept mediocrity, then that is what they have. Man City and Liverpool are in a different league.

I can't understand people saying the RS are in a different league, united finished well above them last season, we're three games in ffs and the RS have had the easiest fixture list of the whole league so far.

Spurs and Chelsea are definitely in the same bracket right now. Spurs have won two away games including old Trafford, Chelsea have won two away games including beating arsenal, the RS have beaten three teams who will be in the bottom six.

Sissoko has joined Fenerbache on a season long loan. That's like a new signing!

We have Winks back fit and hopefully Wanyama will regain his form of two seasons ago.

As for Lamela, I am a big fan of his. Very underrated in my opinion. I like his fiestiness.

That’s the same for every side apart from City. Liverpool only have a first 11, if they pick up one injury to Van Dijk or any of the front three they’ll fall off the pace. I think Spurs are actually better stocked with at least some decent back up options like Son Llorente Wanyama Winks Sissoko Rose Aurier.

Lucas Moura, what a signing. He was not a regular last season and that was down to Son Heung-min's strong performances, but the impact he has made, the pace which has shown, he should have had a penalty in the first half, two fantastic finishes and you see a club in Spurs who have got their recruitment right.
I just wonder what this victory will do for Spurs' confidence? They are a side who do not have a good record against top six teams, but to come and perform in the manner they did especially in the second half, they are going to push Liverpool and Manchester City on the back of this performance.

Oh, wow, didn't take Sutton long to change his stance hahaha what an idiot.
