To be clear, I don't think Liverpool are winning the league purely down to luck. They are a very good team, best they've been since 2013-14. You'd have to be an idiot or biased to say otherwise.

Yes it's been completely dominant this year, even favourites City were beaten by another premier league club.

La liga have been winning the top honours for some time but it does seem like a changing of the guard this year and perhaps a sustained period of premier league dominance more likely.

Money talks and the gap between the amount the premier league can attract and the rest is widening.

Top clubs like Barca (or Real) can keep up due to them selling their own televised rights and PSG have an oil rich state financing them but their leagues aren't anything like as marketable.
