I mean it is not hard to find a better manager than Gareth Southgate. There’s ten a penny of them currently unemployed.

Someone put an article from Wenger up recently and was a good read, specificity about player types and attitudes to play. Klinsmann was quoted in it also.
They decried the modern cookie cutter conveyor belt of player production. Football will evolve some more yet. The good overall doesn't cater for individual brilliance, maybe it's why the ronaldo's and Messi's shine ever brighter.

It's a very good point. One thing German players could not be accused of in the past was lacking personality. And while they had their overarching system of play, they always produced brilliant individuals - in all positions. The current mob are bloodless drips.

I think it’s an unopen secret that the Euros is his last tournament hence the stories about Wiegman stepping up from the Lionesses as a possible option after the World Cup Final
