Surely Ajax will be heavily sanctioned and the game awarded to their opponents.

In fairness when you are not a top player and come from a country that is not a footballing powerhouse the road to the top was always going to take longer

I sort of get their process of buying youth with the hope it will mature, but the reality of the PL is you need to do this carefully and alongside a wider plan.

Their team is full of youth, inexperienced and unproven PL players and some who quite simply aren't worth the price tag. It's a perfect recipe for disaster.

Is this a team that will get your CL? Not for me.

Maybe they spend again in Jan but based on what they currently have they look like a mid table outfit which will mean a summer where they will need to sell some players off
