I said in another thread, it's to some extent commendable that Kompany wants Burnley to play good, attractive football; it worked for him/them last year.

But the standard of the PL is a huge step-up, and the top teams will undo them quite easily if they carry on this, as will most of the mediocre sides.

Potter managed it with Brighton, so you CAN do that as a smaller side

I think being off the ground, with his studs open, landing on his calf negates that point. I think how quickly it happens was the reason the referee didn't give it initially.
