The most annoying thing about that clear Jota dive is there are people on social media arguing it was a penalty, and not even just reds fans. The fact people think that blatant dive should result in a penalty, shows the utter mess that premier league football is in.

No-one who thinks that is a penalty after watching the replay of it has ever played or watched football in person. The opinions of anyone who genuinely thinks that is a penalty are meaningless.

Here’s the thing with both the penalties, each player made a conscious decision to fall over after contact.

The pundits and the nob ref in the studio said the same thing “there’s contact”

If the above is true then every contact in the game is now a foul “IF” the player chooses to fall over…. Stupid.

They won’t. Ref gave a pen, VAR checked it and agreed with the ref.

Most Newcastle are getting is an apology from the PMGOL, and I’ll be surprised if they even get that. They’ll pull out some “letter of the law” bullshit like they did over Onanas handball the other day to hide their incompetence.
