was just saying it how it is mate. not really a silver lining, just pointed out how clueless and hypocritical gerrard is and always has been.

apparently he's a saint and knowledgable guy though.

Gerrard's a [endless obscenities removed by filter]. That we can agree on.

Liverpool are gonna comfortably finish top 4 and may even challenge for the title. Not sure how many blues agree with this part, but there you have it. Looking for silver linings in that isn't for me, to be honest.

After all the play we had yesterday we couldn't buy a kind bounce of the ball. In fact we got an unkind one against us in the very last minute. Liverpool despite being horrendously average for most of the second half get the kindest of double ricochets just when they need it. You can't call a long ball and mishitting a shot making your own luck. That;'s two games they should have drawn that they have now won thanks to one idiotic Fulham defender and the gods smiling kindly on them once more. I'm surprised the rest of the top 5 didn't all splutter as well this weekend to gift wrap the league for them. Spurs will though so then we can all endure this sickening brand of kick and rush Gerrard ball football on those magical Anfield nights once again when European sides don't really understand the concept of playing a team that never really want to have the ball, rather they want you to have it then make a mistake with it.

I've a feeling Norwich will get a result here unfortunately, scrapping for there lives now. To think, just weeks ago we'd have been rooting for the Canaries. How deflating

according to the commentator he doesnt need to score to play just like pele, fair enough theyve been good but the media love in is horrible

Honest question

Why do you read/listen/watch anything about them?

I have stopped watching MOTD/Sky when there on, I don't read the papers and I don't listen to talksport/city when its about them

To win the title this lot are going to have to up their game. Odd goal wins against opposition like Swansea at home and Fulhan away - form like that isn't going to hold for too long. They'd need about 85 points to stand a chance, which is way out of their league with three better teams ahead of them.

Obviously, just depressed they'll make the Cl next year, short of a miracle.

Them missing out could cause a lot of things to unravel, for them.

The only reason you score 70 goals in28 games is being good not lucky to think anything else is bitter plain and simple

City/Arsenal being out of the CL won't help them

Also City have the best striker in the country back this week

I dont buy any papers, and pretty watch watch all football without commentry, today being an exception and the last one i'll make this season. but I watch the games because after seeing everton win, watching liverpool lose is the thing I want most in football, neither seems to be happening right now, but I didn't stop watching england play cricket in the 90's because they got smashed everywhere, I've watched plenty of boxing where I knew I would'nt get the result I've craved, but I watch in the hope that I might get to see something I enjoy

It is bitter and annoys the back out of me

I hate them with a passion like every other blue on here but to pretend there not playing well and scoring for fun due to there playing style is daft and makes us look like tits

I never watch them either, was half-arsed keeping track of the minute-by-minute report. In fact I think I've discussed Liverpool FC more in the 3 forum years I've been here than in the previous 22 years as an Evertonian and general football fan.

Why others follow them? I think the rivalry is a very important definition of some blue's feelings of tribalism towards our own club. It amplifies a feeling of belonging by being vehemently anti the arch rivals. Nowt wrong with that, but we reserve the right to take the piss still :whip:

It isn't over yet though. Liverpool look more vulnerable at the back each week. They'll have to sort that out asap even if they want to hang onto 4th.

The Spurs result will be interesting. If they win today I think Liverpool will be very concerned they've had a massive set of results but still cant shake off the 5th place chaser.
