Not really that much of a positive given everyone else will improve over the summer. Liverpool will spend big for starters, as will united.

We had our chance of top 4 this season and we blew it, we won't be getting a chance as good as that again, if ever.

get your point.

you can't really say ever though, i mean who knows how long the universe will last?

Unfortunately you've got a point. Unless we have our greatest ever transfer window, we're not gonna be able to keep up next season.

I know what you mean but I'm pretty sure we've felt the same way about other seasons gone by and yet once again we've had another shot. You cant predict what will happen but one thing for sure is we will never get in there without proper funds for the first team.

they don't have the squad for it imo.

their front two are a couple of levels above the rest of the squad and then they have a few good players like mignolet who you would say are european standard, but champions league? nah.

same as, really none of ours are CL standard, rodgers has done a brilliant job to get this squad in with a sniff of the title, it has to be said, but having to juggle both, they would have to buy a mass amount of players imo

They'd be goosed if they did two games in three days. Not a chance they wouldn't end up falling between two stools.

Dont rule out either Suarez leaving for Madrid whether Liverpool get CL football or not...in fact if they do qualify this season I'd see him going even more likely as he'd have the card to play that he'd helped them there and can go in good conscience.

The only reason you score 70 goals in28 games is being good not lucky to think anything else is bitter plain and simple
It is bitter and annoys the back out of me

I hate them with a passion like every other blue on here but to pretend there not playing well and scoring for fun due to there playing style is daft and makes us look like tits

This for me as well, you don't have to praise them just say nothing rather than some of the ridicuolous comments we have to read about them after every game.

It must be amazing having such a $h1te, lucky, team that score more than any other in the prem.

We finish above them 2 years in a row. They finish above us and will have a champions league place to show for it.

The year we finish 4th. They only go and win it.

The best period in our history. They only go and get us a European ban.

Why are they so closely linked to our downfalls in pynical parts of our history. Very very eery. Any one but them like. I'm not biter just a bit spooked out.

Madrid can't afford him, they spunked a record fee on Bale just this summer gone, and Suarez would cost as much after signing his monster contract just a couple of months ago.

lollollollol

we have to get good business done this summer, no excuses at all, we had another chance this january to kick on and chose not to, apparently wanting to wait till summer to do better business, if that doesn't happen this current regime can do one from me, I'll be waiting to renew my season ticket, not arsed by the early bird deal just to be conned by kenwright and co again

We are are a 6th/7th place team, that's just the blunt truth of its and nothing will change unless we get new owners who are minted.

This

Sad but very true

Once Utd sack Moyes and bring in a quality replacement the top 4 will be just as before

Chelsea/City will dominate for a decade at the top whilst Liverpool/Arsenal/Utd fight for the other two places
