That Sturridge with more goals per minute than Messi/Ronaldo this season is pretty 'ok'.

Its true they have spent alot on tosh (Carrol 35m LOL), but can't think of a bigger bargain than Sturridge in recent years.

Sturridge got handed to them on a plate from chelsea same as the Brazilian lad from inter.

All the signings rodgers has had to go out and buy have been gash. If Martinez wasted that much cash people would want him beheaded

Sturridge was a gamble. He'd not fitted in at some other clubs, but he's a finisher.
I never doubted he'd score given a starting role at a club.
As for Carrol, again, it was the money paid that caused him grief. If they had paid £15m for him, he would still be there.

i meant literally all the players rodgers bought - i reckon at least 90% were ones he either worked with under chelsea youth and then onto watford and then reading and then swansea.

martinez is beautiful, leave him out of it.

The only successful player he's signed that he hasn't worked with is countinho.

Rodgers has spent over a 100 million, hardly a big achievement getting 4th with that spending power
