Anybody else miss Pipo Inzaghi? Proper poacher him. Didn't matter what the goal was like or the distance it was scored from. Always celebrated like it was the winning goal in the European Cup final.

Its funny because it almost feels like the the Champions League was his priority all along. The one title that eluded him from his first spell. He and those associated with Chelsea will never admit it but its there for all to see. Even when they were top of the league, he dismissed his team as title chasers and one of the favourites.

As the years go by, you can see personal glory floating towards the surface with him. Probably and it wouldn't be unlike him, he wants to stick it to Abramovich by winning the lot at Chelsea to remind him that he made a mistake all those years ago when he got rid

I remember celebrating when he did score the winner in a European cup final :)


 
Inzaghi was possibly the greatest pure finisher in footballing history, despite being a pretty limited overall footballer.

I'd love to know his conversion rate as it seemed at least 75%. There were countless games he did absolutely nothing except get one opportunity and bag it with ease.
