We needed a goal. He had him on the bench and didn't use him.

Why keep him then?
I see your point and I suspect Dyche would only use him in an emergency, but maybe you recall people complaining about us getting rid of Simms when DCL got injured at the start of last season.

Well DCL is still "injured", Danjuma has just come back from an injury, which leaves us with Maupay, so do you not think it prudent to retain Cannon just in case hes needed in the next 2 weeks?

I dont want Dyche sacked at any point this season. I dont want any manager sacked while Moshiri and Kenwright remain in charge of picking a successor.

I will criticise him though when I dont see him make decisions that I think were right.
But you don’t know anything about his man management of Tom cannon so you’re just crying for no reason.

I know that we needed a goal at home and he still wasn't brought on

So I see no reason to keep someone you won't use in the ideal scenario for a centre forward on your substitutes bench
That’s not what you said in the first place which is why it seems like you’re just looking for anything to moan about the manager for just like you were in another topic saying he’d not been clear about doms fitness before the game when he’d literally said he didn’t expect him to play.

If we don’t get in the forwards we want then Dyche will keep him, if we do he’ll go on loan for another season . Cannon is in demand at Championship level, for once we are in the driving seat and we can literally wait until the last day of the transfer window before we decide.

Was disappointed he wasn't brought on at any stage last Saturday but if he wasn't fit that would at least be some form of an excuse.

Maupay still coming on ahead of him is a joke. I don’t even know if Tom can play. I just know Neal can’t. And as a striker, is there really any risk by putting on maybe zero goals instead of guaranteed zero goals? Dyche needs to get is head out of his arse here. Otherwise just let the boy move on.

He’s only just back for injury.
