If neither has a chance to come on, then it's a waste of a spot. Maybe have one of the wingers who looked bright in preseason...Could've been a good chance to get someone 20 mins of prem experience when down 4-0...
If there's no chance of playing, then they shouldn't be on the bench.
Who missed out on a bench slot that would have gone on? Kouyate at best?

My point was our manager puts players on the bench who aren't properly fit and were never going to come on. He's always done it.
