as good as they are I think patience has reached breaking point with Gibson/Pienaar, it's not just the wages its the treatment costs. It's a shame as Gibson in the handful of games he did play did improve us. But it's just not worth the effort any more.

Osman on the other hand as you say can still do it for us (as long as he doesn't have to play too much), but he'll be phased out organically and replaced with the younger model, like Barry.

Cleverley coming in does seem to suggest that someone is getting the chop

That, or we're culling some of the younger players in the academy

Lundstram and Francisco Junior probably won't be around much longer. If they were ever getting their chance, they would have had it by now

Signing Cleverley does make me think that Ledson is probably getting loaned next season for match minutes

yes mate, I said if he hadn't started at United nobody would want him. he's still living off the hype that surrounded him when he was at them so teams are willing to take a risk on him because of that.

Villa had him all season so they knew what he did for the team and they still wanted him so to say to is only playing in the premiership because he played for Utd doesn't make sense for me.

I don't. Barry,Gibson, Pienaar and Osman are all being phased out, Kev wants away every 3 months so will probably go. Besic will probably play more this season than last as he takes up the 'Retirees' slack. Just the final phase of a midfield overhaul to go

Depends if they stay fit, roberto loves them and if they can stay relatively healthy they will be in or around the team
