He Allows varience in a system at times at Wigan: Martinez liked to play 5 across the middle with three central midfeilder, two box/box and one sitter something like this:

----------Barry

---Clev-----------JMAC

Lennon--------------Mirrallas

------------Luk

Lol forgot all about Francisco Junior, he must be about 25 now

Got one more year on his contract. What a brilliant idea giving him a 4 & 1/2 year contract was. Not one of Moyes better signings.

He was loaned out to Port Vale towards the end of last season. I think we'll be getting rid for a nominal fee in the near future.

What a dreary, uninspiring, crap addition to the squad. He'll bring absolutely nothing. He may have been good for Villa but that's because they're turbogash.

Martinez out!!!

Spot on.

People could wait to see how he does first before making a tool of themselves.

You would think people would learn, but they don't, stupid, stupid people everywhere.
People are giving their opinions mate , it's a forum for that. Nobody wants him to be crap we all want him to be boss. it would be boring as fck if everyone just typed 'I'll wait and see how he does' . I couldn't really care less if I make a fool of myself and Judging by other posts most others don't either. We're allowed To be tools if we want.

Yeah, he's so crap, he's just been recalled by England. His career is going nowhere clearly!

The doubters should go read some Villa forums. They saw him play every week & are gutted to not sign him permanently.

He's a very tidy player. In the mould of Ossie/Pienaar/Arteta. As in, he's always showing for the ball, asking for it to feet.

Some seem concerned that he'll play on the left, obsessed with the idea of playing 2 wingers. Totally ignoring the fact that no decent side has utilised two Lennon type wingers since the days of Kanchelskis/Giggs or Kanchelskis/Limpar (take your pick.)

Strangely, these 2 winger purists are perfectly happy when Pienaar is picked to play on "Da wing," Despite the fact he is not or never has been a 'winger.'
