Decent enough addition, I suppose...
Not really awe inspiring, so I guess I won't be pulling out the hand lotion and Kleenex over this signing...

Surely to God they're totally different players? One defence-minded, the other more absent-minded. Good call about Mrs C though and to be fair, Tom seemed a nice guy when interviewed on football focus last weekend.
Mind you, el bob talks a good fight too....

I think what it does show is that Bobby (like the rest of us) doesn't think we are pressing enough, moving the ball enough and getting our midfield forward enough. Which is encouraging that he's addressing it.

Looks that way... I just hope our next signing is a decent no.10... We need a quality playmaker when we get into that final third.
 

.....plenty of Villa fans on Twitter saying he was poor for them and it is a blessing he's moved to us, not sure if there is a bit of angst in those remarks but some do not appear to be fond of him.

Often good when someone gets a poor reference, usually means they want to keep him :)
 
Current England International on a free, you'd think we'd be happy.I am,I think........you know when folks post their starting eleven on here ?,I don't think he'd be in mine,yet surely we don't see him as a squad player do we ???.does seem to suggest to me like we're offloading this summer.

They're still getting the 6-1 and the FA cup final out of their systems. They need to vent and Clom the T3v has chosen a superior football club to them in the last few days and so they are lashing out at him for it in the same way Evertonians do every time one of our better players is linked with a move. "Didn't want him anyway, he's crap" etc. See Mirallas, Lukaku etc threads.

They wanted him to stay and credit him with playing big part in their revival.
