I don't think anyone including Bobby would disagree with you.Looks that way... I just hope our next signing is a decent no.10... We need a quality playmaker when we get into that final third.

Just ordered four shirts with his name on the back - home, away, alternate and goalkeeper.
The main thing going in his favour is how hard he works for the team. He doesn't hide from the ball. Historically Evertonians have really taken to players with these traits so I can see him winning the doubters round.
If I was after sanity, GOT is the last place I'd lookThink it might be time to close this thread for a while until some sanity is restored here.
People are giving their opinions mate , it's a forum for that. Nobody wants him to be crap we all want him to be boss. it would be boring as fck if everyone just typed 'I'll wait and see how he does' . I couldn't really care less if I make a fool of myself and Judging by other posts most others don't either. We're allowed To be tools if we want.
Probably one of the worst CMs in the country
Truly awful sign of intent from us as a club
Villa didn't even fight to keep him
Agreed. What I've seen of him he injects a bit of urgency going forward by playing quick one twos, if anything people will be booing the others for not showing the same urgency as him after a few games.
I've managed to convince myself he's much more than a 'not bad' signing.
He might not get tons of goals or assists but his passing in the build up to goals is vital, we often give it away cheaply, he won't. Can see him giving the likes of Barkley, Mirallas and del *prays* plenty of chances to get assists though.
He can take over Pienaar's role of "assisting the assister"
Somebody has to do that, and in all honesty, I think we can all agree that we don't want the goalie taking up that role.....
I know - I wasn't being facetious. Teams need players who can knit the play together. Pienaar and Osman being out for so long this season showed that clearly. Some people are unable to see beyond how many goals, final assists or dribbles a player completes, even if that's not the players main role in the team
Can't judge him under new manager syndrome Sherwood as their whole team played like Barca.
