.....plenty of Villa fans on Twitter saying he was poor for them and it is a blessing he's moved to us, not sure if there is a bit of angst in those remarks but some do not appear to be fond of him.

I think it's fair to say he was dreadful at Villa under Lambert, but looked a different player under Sherwood - until a poor last couple of games.

The main thing going in his favour is how hard he works for the team. He doesn't hide from the ball. Historically Evertonians have really taken to players with these traits so I can see him winning the doubters round.
