Agreed, he's cheap so that's good, Osman's crap and won't be getting any better with age, Barry's slowing down by the minute....so there are some positives.

But if good players start going out the door and this is the replacement standard we're championship bound.

....I really doubt that but I suspect RM will have sold the club to him and confirmed he sees the player having a part to play in the future. He might we'll have discussed a particular role he wants him in. I see no problem with this, I also don't have a problem if he starts as he might be better than what we have. Can't have too many good players.
