Has the odd good 45 mins in the team but mostly its like playing with 9 outfield players. Not good enough if we are going to rebuild

Worst part of him today was the countless times he stood around with his hands in the air whining and complaining! Can't believe he didn't come off for Mirralas around 75-80 min.

I think that was the best part of his game, because that is actually something that can be useful when you get in the ref's face at dodgy moments, whereas his performance on the pitch was crap.

Cleverley was copping loads of abuse from some fans yesterday, probably a bit unfair because at least he put the effort in, but really didn't add much quality to anything we tried to do.

But he's not a "useful squad player" for us, our manager sees fit to make him a key player which is why we're always destined to be mediocre at best under him

The lad does have ability and can spot a pass, if rom was on his game he'd have scored from a very good ball from cleverley like he did against stoke earlier this season.
Ideally we all want a mirallas, geri type player tearing the backide out of oppo fullbacks and scoring/assisting shedloads but players like tom cleverley do give us other options

Decent in his best position, average on the LW. It's up to Everton to decide if either of those are good enough for us. Sadly at the moment being average guarantees you a starting spot.
