Absolutely. Mccarthy and Besic (when fit) are our first choice back ups to Gana and Barry.

The point I'm trying to make is that, for league cup games or when we have a couple of injuries, the likes of Davies or Walsh should be getting a place on the bench ahead of Cleverley or even Gibson.
