Came on for Gueye (why??). We were battering Burnley, camped in their area trying to equalise, so what did Cleverley do? Gave away a needless foul in their box, thereby taking all the pressure off for them.

Koeman obviously rates him. Gave him the armband a couple of times in preseason.

I don't think there is anything wrong with cleverley. Where would you place him realistically? A mid table club? .............
It is the likes of having Cleverley here among others which is why we are struggling against burnleys of the game. Imagine if the club actually did spend some money for once and signed some quality or at least better than these sorts of players? I like cleverley as a player but he is only good with better players around him. Once the quality drops in the team then you see he isn't as good as a main player, but a good supporting player for the stars if that makes sense?

I agree with this. I remember he used to make a lot of intelligent runs in Roberto's first tenure that freed up our players for several goals. He is very limited physically, so he won't make that much of a contribution if the team around him plays like crap. HE STILL NEEDS TO BE REPLACED BY JANUARY OR I WILL LOSE MY SHEEEEET
