It's not on the wing though mate, that's not what the position is. In simplistic terms it could be said as left wing but it's far more complicated than that. The left sided player that Pienaar, Osman and Cleverley have all been at one time or another are there to knit attacks together, I'd agree with you if we were playing Cleverley on the left to run at players and get to the byline but it's a different position to that to fit in with the rest of the team.
 

cleverly definitely has a role to play. All this talk about playing 2 wingers is fine, but there is a limit to the amount of players you can play that offer nothing defensively. We already have Lukaku and Barkley who have been told to not chase down just find space ,playing kev and Gerry as well would see us getting slaughtered in midfield. Picking a football team is not like picking a fantasy football team.
