Yeah but mine where to provide examples of players who you asked where playing more games than Tom Davies (of a similar age) Not players who are ‘highly rated’ but havnt even played. Anyway I think I’ve made my opinion on the above posts clear. I hope to be proved wrong, I can’t see it though, and havnt seen anything for a long time from him to suggest otherwise.

I think his position is irrelevant in that case there’s unfortunately a few players from
Over the park that are of a similar age and have played all season. Ben chilwell of Leicester is also only 22 and has played 34 times this season, all from the start.

So you couldn’t name me one then because there isn’t one.

It’s the most challenging position to play in the pitch so to rack up the amount of games he has at his age is very impressive.

Sorry for not having all the stats of premier league midfielders in my head. Also on it being the hardest position, you can have that argument about all positions, there’s no hiding places anymore. Whether your a CM, centre half, full back and so on
Rack up? He’s basically playing 1 in 4... come on that’s like a game every month if not longer.

Schneiderlin has been semi-rehabilitated and come back to put in a couple of very useful performances recently.

If Silva and his coaching staff can achieve that, then who knows what they may be able to do with a young player who is (hopefully) desperate to kick on in his development?

I’m not the lad’s biggest fan but I’ve seen enough in flashes to know I wouldn’t write him off yet. I’ll wait until he’s had two bad games in preseason and then shout for him to be sold...

Is your argument really young or slightly older players developing faster than Davies? So we should bin Davies off because he isn't a starter for Everton at 20? Players like Davies need to be playing week in week out, You don't get better by sitting on the bench or bit part subs.
