Is your argument really young or slightly older players developing faster than Davies? So we should bin Davies off because he isn't a starter for Everton at 20? Players like Davies need to be playing week in week out, You don't get better by sitting on the bench or bit part subs.

No my argument isn’t about the development rates of players, I know this varies from player to player. I just don’t rate him as strongly as others, it’s an opinion based on watching do (well I can’t remember him doing anything apart from city goal).

Each to their own opinion. I just don’t buy in to the hype, he may have time on his side but my argument was that others are doing it already at his age etc, have to read over the posts to get the full jist. I hope to be proved wrong. Every time I’ve seen him play he has offered little to nothing, infact against Arsenal when he came on the only thing I can recall him doing was 1) running in to DCL and 2) not shooting when in acres of space

His lack of development is on himself and nobody else, couldn’t give a monkeys what clothes he wears. He is the one with the supposed talent, I know someone who went to school with him, and he basically said he wasn’t even see as being that good in school boy terms, I’ve seen enough of that on the pitch to agree. I’ve seen him misplace a pass from 5 yards more times than I’ve seen him do anything else
